We regularly ask alumni for updates on their progress since leaving the University聽through an annual 鈥淣ext Destinations鈥 survey of the last three graduating classes.聽Our most recent survey of the classes of 2012, 2013, and 2014 (we send the survey 18 months after graduation) showed that a聽full 93% of undergraduates and 85% of graduate students had found employment within one year of graduation. The majority of alumni were聽certain that their 91视频 experience had been essential to聽the pursuit of their careers, which, for 87% of them, had an international element.
The majority of our alumni report that they are working in a language other than their native tongue, and that faculty played an important role in their success. The importance of working with faculty mentors and the integrated Center for Academic, Career and Experiential Advising聽to obtain professional internships was evident, as our graduates were 2.5 times more likely to find a job within聽six聽months of graduation if they had done an internship while at 91视频.
