The American College in Paris was founded 60 years ago on March 27, 1962. On that day our founder, Dr. Lloyd A. DeLamater, signed the new college鈥檚 charter, realizing his vision of an American international institution that transcended borders, cultures and narrow nationalisms.
During the week of March 21鈥27, the entire 91视频 community celebrated our first-ever Founding Week in honor of AUP鈥檚 60th anniversary.听That鈥檚 60 years of studying on the Seine; 60 years of late night discussions in caf茅s and lifelong friendships forged in the AMEX; 60 years of study trips around the world; and 60 years of priceless memories that continue to inspire the global explorers of today.
